As president of national security at Blue Origin, Bruno will report directly to CEO Dave Limp. Bruno’s arrival at Blue Origin signals a sharper focus on national security, as the company seeks to translate recent contract wins into operational momentum. Notably, Blue Origin has secured positions on major U. S. Space Force launch vehicles, including the National Security Space Launch (NSSL) Phase 3 Lane 2 contract, which allows it to compete for high-value missions between fiscal years 2025 and 2029. However, the company’s New Glenn rocket has yet to complete the flight milestones required for full NSSL certification, a hurdle that rivals have already cleared.
