New FIFA Game In Development With Netflix

A new FIFA video game is set to be published in partnership with Netflix and developed by Delphi Interactive, a studio yet to release a game. Following the end of its partnership with EA in 2022, FIFA had announced plans to develop a portfolio of Web3 games. Delphi Interactive, established in 2023, claims to be the architects behind 007 First Light, although details are scarce.
According to Andy Kleinman, president of Delphi, the studio has been working on the FIFA game for 30 months. Casper Daugaard, founder and CEO of Delphi Interactive, expressed his excitement, stating that the mission is “to make the FIFA game the most fun, approachable, and global football game ever created.” The game promises to be “fast to learn, thrilling to master, and built for anyone to jump in,” with the ability to play solo or online without a controller, using only a Netflix subscription and a phone.
The partnership with Netflix aims to make the game more accessible to a casual audience.
